Movie lovers are reeling from report about a Hollywood “megastar” Charlie Sheen being HIV positive.

The 50-year-old Golden Globe winner said he had learned about his diagnosis “roughly four years ago and that he was “not entirely” aware of how he contracted the virus.   Sheen has two ex-wives and several children, but also has several sex partners.

One of them, an ex-girlfriend Bree Olson, who dated the actor in 2011, claims that he never told her of his HIV status. “He’s a monster!” she cried. She is anxiously waiting results of her HIV test. She returned to Twitter on Monday, writing, “Recorded myself for half an hour being tested for HIV and getting the results. This is so stressful.”

Charlie Sheen in 1995 trial, admitted to spending $53,000 on 11 prostitutes. Asked why he continued to bring people including prostitutes to his home even though he is HIV positive.  Sheen said it was because he was depressed. He revealed that he had had unprotected sex with two people since then and that they were both under the care of his doctor.

Because of huge profits from investment in pornography and the sex industry, promoters of free sex may continue scoffing at those who view sex as best between married couples, yet, Sheen’s debacle proves them wrong. The exchanges of seminal fluids- seminal ejaculation, virginal fluids, fluid from sweat pores, saliva etc makes sex a high risk HIV exposure leisure activity.

Effectiveness of condoms and contraceptives are exaggerated. Scientists from Ohio State University tracked the sexual activity of an unnamed public high school in the Midwest. Their findings were published in the July 2004 issue of American Journal of Sociology. Approximately 1000 students were interviewed, and asked to identify their romantic sexual partners over the past 18 months. A “romantic sexual partner” was defined as someone you were dating, and therefore mere “hook ups” were not included in the research. The research also did not include partners from other schools.

Here’s what they found: 573 students admitted to having at least one romantic sexual partner in the last 18 months. Of these 573 students, more than half could be traced to a network of 288 partners! (See image below) The pink dots represent actual high school girls, and the blue represents the boys. The lines between them represent the links of sexual activity. As you can see, while a guy may have only one sexual partner, theoretically he could be connected to 286 sexual partners other than his own. In fact, the furthest two people on the map are separated by 37 steps. Surely, not one student in this map would have suspected this intricate web of sexual exposure, or the massive implications this has on STD transmission.
